Runway Rundown: Day One

Blak Luxe

Highlight: The crowns adorning the some of the models' heads. Beautiful wooden delicate things which made the girls look like fantastic, witchy, forest princesses. Incredible Chaos & Harmony lace-up boots and dark, gothic make-up.

Key trend/colour: Dresses, sheer fabrics and dark colours. Rich, warm reds. Sheer  knee length stockings. Sheer, sheer, sheer!

Highlights: The navy and white wide stripe fabric they look to be using in their collection. The fact that it wasn't a show. Guy Coombes' incredible photographs. The seemingly endless supply of cocktails and definitely the whoopie pies (baked by Jordan Rondel, aka. The Caker). The whoopie pies saved my life after a day of hardly any sustenance.

Who's sitting Front row: There was no front row but Antonia Prebble was there, as were a lot of the international bloggers, party photographer/pap/all round good guy Norrie Montgomery, Shannon Ryan from FOUR and the TVNZ U presenters Connor Nestor and Tim Lambourne.

Key trend/colour: Prints! Amazing prints coming next winter.
