Viva Presents: First Light

The High Street Guild in partnership with Viva and BIG little City, is proud to launch First Light- Auckland’s Fashion Night Out, a free event where purveyors of style with substance to come and shop, socialise and experience the High St district.

First Light celebrates the new and the fresh, and takes place just twice each year.

The inaugural First Light event takes place on Friday the 30th September from 12 noon until 10pm and showcases fashion & retail offerings for the Spring/Summer season. The district’s fashion houses, retailers, restaurants, bars and galleries will open their doors, holding in-store events showcasing the best of the new season’s fashion, food and culture. High Street will be closed in the evening to aid your retail journey.

Several of Shop What's New's partners are involved in the inaugural First Light, including:

Ruby: 4 High Street. Free RUBY gift with purchase (RUBY nail polish and limited edition RUBY carabineer) with any purchase over $50. Drinks instore and designer meet and greet.
Storm: 23 High Street. See the Summer collection catwalk show and receive a gift with purchase
Barkers: 4A High Street. Have a beer while you shop- In association with Moa beer
Moochi: Join them on Friday night for the festivities!
Rodd & Gunn: Doors will be open late
Mi Piaci: Getting in on the Fashion fun!

Many other fantastic brands and retailers have planned special events and treats for the big night, so make sure if you're in Auckland to head to High St to take in all the fashion festivities!
