LAYER YOUR WAY IN TO AUTUMN

I was wondering if you could give me some tips on transeasonal dressing? The weather is getting so changeable; it’s hard to know what to wear. Evie

HI EVIE, 

A big trend coming through at the moment is layering, and thank goodness because layering is the best answer to transeasonal dressing. Layering is a good chance to have fun with your clothes and pile on eclectic mashes of prints and textures. For layering inspiration check out Leandra of the Man Repeller , she is wonderful and wild.  Unless it’s bitterly cold then I love bare legs when layering – it means you can pile all sorts of great pieces on top without swamping your silhouette. If you want to wear pants, then a belt will help add definition to still determine that you’re from the female species. Try poofy skirts over pants, shirts worn open over T-shirts; and with jackets with vests on top.
